Dear Parents and Carers,

 

Please be reminded of the following important points regarding students' lunch accounts.

 

Overdraft Limits for children who pay for their food 

• There is a £0 overdraft limit for all student accounts.

• Any student who is in their overdraft cannot purchase food items or buy any drinks.  The school can provide water free of charge

• However, in the interest of safeguarding and student welfare, the student will be offered a free bagel.

• Please check your accounts and top up regularly.

 

Children who receive Free School Meals

• If your child has free school meals, they will be allocated £2.65 per day.

• The £2.65 free school meal allowance can be used at break time or lunch time on food items only.

• It cannot be used on any drinks, as the school is able to provide water free of charge and it is important that the children are able to have food rather than drinks.

• However, parents and carers can add money onto their child's account to enable them to spend more than the allocated amount for their free meal allowance

We would like parents and carers to check to see if children are eligible for free school meals.
